I t ’s time for the last post about Philippines (how upsetting is that?). In my previous post you could find a bunch of useful information about 4, different places we visited ( HERE ) as well as comparison Net vs Reality ( HERE ). Today, I’ll talk to you about things which I liked and those which I liked less (to not say disliked).  +   1 . Beaches - definitely my number 1! They are just perfect. Big, sandy and empty! Plus, water is just pleasantly warm and crystal clear. What else do you need? 2 . Palm trees - They make the landscape look so dreamy. I could ride around forever and never be bored.  3 . Weather - we expected heavy rains but we had nothing other than beautiful sun (maybe a few, showers 😉) 4 . No tourists - Philippines are like the best world’s kept secret.  5 . Activists - each place we visited had prepared plans of tours, so you can see best points around. Great option if you aren’t rich enough to rent your own boat and you haven’t got much time.  6 . 29.06.2018 el nido 🔜 puerto princessa No i komu w drogę temu czas. Właśnie jedziemy vanem z El nido do puerto prinsessy, skąd jutro mamy lot do Manili. Jak było? Przez nasze choroby kilka dni spędziliśmy odpoczywając, nie robiąc nic produktywnego (tak, Mata tez dopadła ta okropna bakteria, biedny), głównie siedząc w pokoju, albo spacerując. Udało nam się zrobić najpiękniejszy island hopping w El Nido. W życiu nie widziałam tak niebieskiej wody, tak pięknych ryb i koralowców. Raz, pływając kajakiem po wielkiej lagunie, odpłynęliśmy od wszystkich i spotkaliśmy stadko małp bawiących się nad brzegiem wody. To było magiczne! Te małpy nie były wyszkolone, nie oczekiwały karmienia, były po prostu zajęte sobą od czasu do czasu tylko zerkając na nas jak na jakieś dziwolągi 🤣 Mat powiedział, ze gdyby miał bucket list to by właśnie odhaczył kolejny punkt ✅ Kolejnego dnia wybraliśmy się do Nacpan beach. W planach mieliśmy spać pod namiotem. Wszystko było super. Namiot był co prawda malutki (

Hello everyone.  I hope you guys are fine and you enjoy your life just like I am.  I’m coming to you, today, with the new post from our trip to Philippines.  What’s that gonna be about, you are thinking? So...I have done a lot of research,about the places we are going to visit, before we have started our Big Asian Adventure to make sure we are prepared for everything or at least as much as possible to avoid troubles. Quite a lot of the information I found in the internet was right but not everything and today I would like to tell you what is a true and what you don’t have to worry about, planning your trip to Philippines.  Lets start:  1. Are they really checking if you have got the ticket back to your country (or at least another country) ? One of the main think you have to know before visiting Philippines is that you have to show the return ticket or the proof that you are leaving in the time (for polish and english people: you can stay in Philippines 28 days as a tourist, without th

20.06.18 Puerto Princessa Perto Princessa i Palawan przywitały nas piękna pogoda, której się kompletnie nie spodziewaliśmy po tym co było w Manili i po tym co czytaliśmy w internatach na temat pogody na Filipinach w czerwcu. Serio, wszyscy przestrzegają przed deszczem i wichurami a tak na prawdę to pada bardzo rzadko, a jeśli nawet to nie dłużej niż kilka minut, także praktycznie się tego nie odczuwa. Absolutnie w niczym to nie przeskadza. Za nami moja pierwsza przejażdżka skuterem (jako pasażerka, oczywiście), odnajdowanie pięknych, praktycznie pustych plaz z krystalicznie czysta woda i zwiedzanie miasta. Ogólnie wszystko jest pięknie, ale jest kilka rzeczy które bardzo kłują w oczy. Jedna z nich jest ‚podatek od bycia bialym’ czyli po prostu płacisz więcej bo nie jestes lokalny. Ja rozumiem, bieda, ale w ten sposób oni na pewno nie przysparzają sobie nowych klientów i nie zachęcają turystów do powrotu. Our time in Philippines is gone.  It’s sad, especially for me, because it’s my first country away from Europe (can you believe that I’m 26 years old and I never traveled further than Europe??) so I’ll always keep this place in my heart.  Because Philippines it’s a country of thousands of island is difficult to talk about the first impression here. Each place is completely different. In Manila it was very hot, but ugly. I loved Puerto Princessa from the moment when we just landed in the airport but it’s not too much you can really do there, unfortunately.  I felt like we are the only tourist here, what can be nice but also made us feel like a monkey in the zoo, everyone is looking at you just because your skin colour. We only spend less than three weeks here in Philippines (mainly exploring the island of Palawan) so I’m not an expert but I would like to share some of my thoughts with you.
